To use this you’ll need either a ASUS P5B/Similar Asus Motherboard or even Non-Asus motherboards that has the AD1988 chipset.
To Install The Sonic Focus SoundMAX audio driver you download the driver for the P5B motherboard from the Asus website above. From there you select downloads. Next you fill out a form that tells them what drivers you are looking for and in my case I fill in “motherboard”, “Socket 7753 and “P5B” for the model number of the unit.
Click AUDIO to expand the audio tab and then download your new driver. You’ll want the driver:

After Installation, you’ll want to RIGHT click on the little speaker icon on the bottom right of your system tray. Select Playback devices, Click ‘Speakers’ and then click the ‘Properties’ button.
You’ll see the new previously hidden Sonic Focus and Microphone enhancement tabs. Simply click to enable the new features and enjoy. It’s a free fantastic audio upgrade.
